History & Specifications

Jean-Pierre Mazza built steel frames in Les Acacias, a peripheral district next to Carouge (Geneva), from the 1980s to the early 2000s. From the mid-1990s until about 2003, Mazza supported women’s teams. In 1999, he was team leader assistant of the women’s racing team MAZ – MAZZA TEGE FRESH FRIES. The racing and track bike frames from the late 1980s onward were notable for fancy color combinations with fluorescent colors and stencil work. Mazza team models were available starting in 1994. Mazza used different Columbus tube sets from SL to Max. This model is built with the rare Columbus Multishape (MS) tube set and lug set. Each tube has a different geometry of round, triangular, crescent, lemon to withstand the specific stresses of the frame.

All threaded and bearing seats have been refinished with Campagnolo tools and the frame has been built with Campagnolo Super Record and C-Record components.

The bike is well maintained, the paint has some blemishes. The mechanical condition is very good.

Frame size seat tube 58.5 cm center-top, top tube length 58 cm center-center, weight 9.5 kg.
