The frameset was purchased already repainted. The former owner carefully selected a set of ultra thin Masi Special decal set only available to top frame painters. All threads and steering tube seats I have reworked with Campagnolo tools.
All parts are carefully selected, are within the 1967-68 era and were either NOS or parts in very good condition. A nice detail are the 9 teeth derailleur pulley wheels usually only found on the first generation Campagnolo Nuovo Record rear derailleur from 1966 . The only upgraded Campagnolo parts are the Campagnolo Nuovo Record long reach brake calipers. They came on the market around 1970. The Velox handlbar cloth tape and brake/shifter cables and Continental tubulars are new.
This Masi Special is very well cared and in excellent visual and mechanical condition.
